What is Skyline

'Skyline 6O6'- plus

Skyline: so much more than a 60 x 6 metre double-decker event space.

The Skyline visitor attraction has been designed to add a striking contribution to the tourism and hospitality sectors in any population centre around the world.

The Skyline concept was created by the founder of a group of companies, Richard Hunt. Inspiration is drawn from worldwide attractions such as the Kennedy Space Centre, the Smithsonian, the Eiffel Tower, the London Eye, the CN Tower, etc. combined with recognition of the sheer enjoyment of elite air travel and in-flight entertainment.

The unique construction designed by the artists in steel, Buro Happold, is to be built by Billington Structures to a very high quality specification. The shape of the Skyline's design alludes to the famous jumbo jet designs but is purpose-built allowing for an interior space of 187 feet (57m) long and 20 feet (6.1m) wide.

Skyline will be built of sustainable materials and will maximise the use of onboard green technologies using renewable energy sources and advanced power, light, heat, ventilation, water and waste management systems.

The Skyline special effect – the whole structure can rotate through 360o once per hour - is pure 'wow factor', providing visitors and their families with an all-round view during their stay. However, Skyline is by no means a fairground attraction. Skyline's patented rotatable structure supports an aerial pleasure dome of multiple entertainment zones; flight simulators, a large aviation-themed restaurant, a first class VIP music bar and performance area, and many other attractions.

In terms of customer service, safety and security, Skyline will be operated like a real airliner. Hand bags, shopping bags and other belongings will be checked before boarding. The cabin crews will be well trained to operate the security systems and to engage personally with every visitor to ensure that they have the visit of a lifetime.
